We are looking for an experienced and customer focused leader to manage our beautiful Double Bay Boutique. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • As a Bianca Spender Store Manager, you will be an ambassador and leader of the brand.
  • You will lead, inspire, and coach team through a hands-on approach.
  • You will build client relationships through continuous connection and treat every client like a VIP client.
  • You will have experience with appointment setting and styling.
  • You will identify key business opportunities to enhance the performance of the store, team, and client service.
  • You will be responsible for the daily operations of the business and strive to achieve targets.
  • You will be familiar with Visual Merchandising and meeting store presentation standards.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 5 years store management experience in a clothing retail environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and build a portfolio of regular VIP’s.
  • Experience with managing a team and training.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and passionate about the brand.

DESIGN & PRODUCTION

POSITION TITLE: PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Production Coordinator and Product Developer will work closely with the Creative Director, Design Team and Operations, Sustainability and Production Manager to support the technical development of all collection garments and managing into Production.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Creating BOMS in ERP system Harmony
  • Set up in Harmony and raising bulk order for trim fabrics and accessories when required ensuring any prices changes are reflected in the Design Master.
  • Set up master CI with garment composition and trim components
  • Assist with preparation of barcode reports for the commerce team for David Jones uploads
  • Create cut & make sheets sheets for bulk & handover all relevant information to contracted cutters & manufacturers
  • . Source & order trims for bulk & prep for each style for manufacturers
  • Manage communication and relationship with all manufacturers.
  • Inspect and try bulk from makers
  • Circulate weekly report on the activities of Production.
  • Process invoices for fabrics, accessories, makers in Harmony for payment by accounts department.
  • Tracking/ logging all samples stages from first sample to PP stage.
  • Maintenance and data integrity of the Design Master & Production Master file
  • Working to set deadlines and communicating with internal departments ensuring company calendar deadlines are being met
  • Attend weekly meetings
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years experience within a similar role
  • Strong garment construction and technical experience across multi product areas
  • Solid knowledge of garment specification and technical fit
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent understanding of critical path and timelines, with good time management skills
  • Organised with strong attention to detail, with an ability to anticipate problems and provide suitable solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Word Excel programs

POSITION TITLE: PATTERNMAKER GRADER DESIGN COORDINATOR
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Patternmaker Grader Design Coordinator will work closely with the design team producing patterns of garments, draping, grading, preparing designs for production and assisting with the day to day management of the design room.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Flat pattern making
  • Draping garments
  • Digitising patterns
  • Completing pattern profiles & spec sheets
  • Working with the machinists to produce samples & resolve construction for efficient manufacturing
  • Refining fit & adjusting patterns based on fittings
  • Finalising patterns, spec sheets, accessories & trims
  • Grading & handing over to production
  • Management of design assistant and sample machinist
  • Management of sample cutting workflow
  • Management of sample machining workflow
  • Management of pattern names & style numbers
  • Handover to production and cutting patterns, grading & final sample in line with critical path
  • Working with Team creating and checking, product spec sheets technical information and garment construction methods
  • Communication with of makers from first samples to delivery of final bulk of production including quality control of all samples
  • Working with Team to ensuring the Design Master file is updated and accurate at all times for make, accessories, trims and other components
  • Working with team to adjust patterns for Fabric skrinkage/ growth
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive knowledge in pattern making, garment construction, specification and technical fit minimum 5 years experience.
  • Computer skills in Lectra/ gerber Microsoft office & excel
  • Strong attention to detail, with an eye for quality & high end design resolve
  • Highly organised with an understanding of critical path and timelines, with good time management skills & ability to prioiritise
  • Positive problem solving mindset & innovative thinker with an ability to anticipate, plan and provide solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

POSITION TITLE: DESIGN ASSISTANT

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The Design Assistant will work closely with the design team to support the department in the day to day running of the design room. this is a hands-on role that works closely with the Creative Director, Patternmakers and sample machinist to create each collection.

  • Cutting toiles
  • Sewing toiles
  • Preparing toiles for fitting
  • Cutting first samples
  • Preparing cut work for sample machinist with pattern toile and accessories
  • Liaising with Sample machinist on sewing work
  • Completing cut details in Design Bible
  • Completing fabric sampling sheet
  • Preparing samples for fittings
  • Preparing alterations for sample machinist
  • Managing patterns and Fabrics in design room
  • Crafting and maintenance of technical drawings, category sheet & range sheet
  • Creation & maintenance of design workboards
  • Assist in design fit meetings taking photos and notes
  • Assist in Production Sample Fittings taking photos & notes
  • Working with Team to ensuring the Design Master file is updated and accurate at all times for make, accessories, trims and other components
  • Working with Team creating and checking, product spec sheets technical information and garment construction methods
  • Working with Team to souring linings accessories and trims & ordering & approving for accounts
  • Working with Product Developer for Fabric and trim testing
  • Preparing & assisting on Campaign shoots
  • Preparing & assisting on Fashion Shows
  • Preparing & assisting for Design Showings
  • Preparing & assisting on Ecom & Ghost shoots
  • Assisting press at peak times for events & press send outs
  • Assisting in production at peak times for accessories prep, stocktake and production hand work

  • Tertiary Design qualifications
  • Computer skills in excel & illustrator
